Products marked CII have a high potential for abuse which may lead to severe psychological or physical dependence. Prescriptions must be written in ink or typewritten and signed by the practitioner. Verbal prescriptions cannot be made except in a genuine emergency. A written prescription must be provided to the dispensing pharmacist within 72 hours. No prescriptions can be renewed.

Use of these products may lead to moderate or low physical dependence or high psychological dependence. Prescriptions can be oral or written and may be redispensed up to 5 times within 6 months.
